Having been a horse owner for over thirty years, I understand the passion, dedication and hard work inherent to successful horsemen. My job as a massage therapist is to help insure your hard work pays off. Athletic potential blossoms when your horse is as soft, supple and elastic as possible.
I'm certified in both Equine and Human Massage Therapy-
I'm a graduate of the Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks near Philadelphia, PA, and have successfully completed national certification through NCBTMB. The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks "...maintains the highest degree of validity, integrity and reliability... and represents the professions' highest standards."
Years of continuing education courses in equine anatomy, kinesiology and physiology have been completed throughout the United States in both private schools and several well known Veterinary Universities.
During the years I spent working as a veterinary technician, I had the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the nation's most experienced veterinarians in the fields of Equine Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology. I've also had the opportunity to work with horses at the pinnacle of their sport as well as those recovering from potentially career changing injuries.
